A daily Bible verse is one of the easiest ways for a church to stay present on social media. It takes two minutes a day and gives your members something good in their feed. Here is how to do it well.
Make the Image in Seconds
Open the Bible verse of the day page or any random verse tool and click Save image. You get a 1080 × 1350 picture, the ideal size for Instagram and Facebook feeds. Because the KJV and WEB are public domain, you can post the verse text freely.
A Simple Weekly Plan
- Monday – Strength: a verse from our strength list to start the week.
- Tuesday – Psalm: a random Psalm for prayer.
- Wednesday – Wisdom: a random proverb for midweek.
- Thursday – Peace: a verse for anxiety and worry.
- Friday – Love: a verse about love for family time.
- Saturday – Kids: a kids verse parents can share.
- Sunday – Sermon: the main verse from this week's sermon.
Caption Tips
- Add one short sentence of reflection, not a full sermon.
- Ask a question: "Who needs to hear this today?"
- Invite people to Sunday service or a small group.
- Always include the reference so people can look it up.
WhatsApp and Status Updates
Many church members share verses on WhatsApp status. Post the daily image in your church's WhatsApp group early in the morning so people can forward it easily.
